Since I was a young child I have always had a passion for art and a creative eye for design .
I was a student of photography at the former Brooks Institute of photography in Santa Barbara, California, and, I also draw by hand using charcoal chalk and pencil to create unique modern art images. My specialty is creating pieces that inspire the love of nature and animals, especially endangered species, and it is why I donate a percentage of my work to organizations that protect our environment and endangered animals.
My work can be commissioned for custom projects. I was chosen to be the art illustrator for the book RISE and SHINE, which will be released in the Fall of 2019, published by Balboa Press/Hay House publishers.
My medium is primarily pencil, charcoal and chalk. I use a shadowing technique for the animals and an intricate design style for the modern art pieces. These original art designs are then digitally reproduced for gifts and apparel.
I enjoy hiking in my spare time and many of my pieces are directly influenced by nature. I love recreating plants and wildlife in my work, and have a special affinity for endangered species.
